David steps into the wild one's shoes
Shout!- The legend of the wild one, the explosive new stage musical based on the life and music of Australia's own rock legend - Johnny O'Keefe - and staring Adelaide's David Campbell, will open for a limited season from 21 June at the Festival Theatre.
SHOUT! is the classic story of the beginning of ron'n'roll in Australia. From the early days of the Sydney Stadium through the television year of six o'clock Rock and Sing Sing Sing, this multi-million dollar theatrical production tells the story of Johnny O'Keefe and the music that has rocked generations.
David is no stranger to theatre. He's known on both sides
of the Pacific as an actor and singer of extraordinary talent. he starred
in Guys and Dolls in Australia and whilst in New York preformed in Stephen
Sondheim's Saturday Night. In 1998 David won the prestigious
SHOUT!, written by John Michael Howson, David Mitchell
and Melvyn Morrow, follows Johnny O'Keefe's life from the time he left

singers, dancers, musicians and a live orchestra. You'll hear She's
