David Campbell in Concert
Feb 15 & 22, 1998

David performed two Sunday nights to a packed and very appreciative house at the Theatre Royal, his only night when he is not there doing Les Miz! The show included his acclaimed Rainbows and Stars performance along with a whole stack of other songs thrown in too. Natalie Jackson Mendoza joined him on stage, dazzling both David and the audience for a couple of songs, as did Cerrian Clements, Brendan Hanson, Amanda Harrison, Peter Murphy, Yvette Robinson and Karlia Zaid from the cast of Les Miserables to provide wonderful backing vocals for Bridge Over Troubled Water.

My parents (Pam and Norm), Penny, Janelle, Phil and myself went along to the Feb 22nd show and were all amazed by it. What a great night it was, congratulations David on a mighty fine performance. It takes a lot of talent and genuine warmth to create an intimate cabaret atmosphere in a 2000 seat theatre! The question we are all wondering though, is, what was that second act suit made of??

Stay tuned with this page, as David said during the show that it was being recorded.... so we might get to see a David Campbell Live CD released later this year.... but I have heard nothing official as yet.

These photos have been taken from the programme that I purchased at the show. I have also included the photos elsewhere on the web-site too, where appropriate.
